Nigeria’s foremost University, The University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, Enugu State, is set to host a conference on Witchcraft on the 26 and 27 of November, 2019.
The theme of the conference is “Witchcraft: Meaning, factors and practices”, and it is convened by the renowned Professor . B.I.C Ijomah Centre for Policy and Research, UNN.
According to TheCable, David Ker, a former Vice Chancellor of the Benue State University, BSU, Makurdi will be the keynote speaker.
Professor Charles Igwe, Vice Chancellor of UNN, is the chief host, while Egodi Uchendu, Director, B.I.C Ijomah centre for policy and research, is the host.
The conference has been met with several oppositions from religious clerics and even the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) as a body.
Preparations for the conference are in top gear.
