The Tribune reports that the award was presented to the Governor by the National Image International magazine
National Image International Magazine who gave the award to the governor said Ambode was nominated based on his satisfactory performance in the governance of Lagos state since assuming office in 2015.
The Head of publication for National Image International Magazine Paul Smith, said Governor Ambode’s achievements in Lagos State is ground-breaking.
He also described the governor as the foremost Nigerian governor with the largest number of road projects
He further commended the governor for empowering the youth, infrastructure development, small and medium scale industry empowerment for indigenes of the state and as well as promotion of peace and security for all Lagosians within the space of four years that the Governor has been in office.
Lagos today is being rated as the fifth largest economy in Africa presently under the leadership of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode
The state accommodates some of the most influential personalities in Nigeria in the likes of Otedola, Mike Adenuga and the richest man in Africa Alhaji Aliko Dangote who do not only have a home here but also have their business empire in the state.
