The General Overseer of Victory Chapel International Church Bishop Mike Bamidele has declared that no pastor can predict the end of the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria According to him, pastors who had earlier predicted the end to the virus needs to check the spirit that they are operating with The respected clergy stated that the virus was evil from hell, stressing that nobody should blame God for it.
Bishop Bamidele, the General Overseer of Victory Chapel International Church, Osogbo, the Osun state capital, has declared that no pastor can predict the end of the coronavirus pandemic in the country
Bamidele made the statement at a press briefing to announce the 2020 Pentecost Day Celebration of his ministry, Vanguard reports.
His words: “There is no specific date the virus will end but the day any man is healed by exercising faith in God, that is the day the virus will end.
“I do not know the kind of spirit those who predicted the end of the virus are operating with but for me, an end has come to the virus the day Jesus died on the cross.”
Recall ealier that a Nigerian cleric, Archbishop Julius Ediwe, on Monday, May 11, predicted that Nigeria and the whole world, in general, will overcome the coronavirus pandemic in no distant time.
The cleric in his statemnet said this while conducting a virtual prayer and fasting conference organized by the National Inter-Faith and Religious Organizations for Peace.
