In less than 24 hours after the members of the National Assembly called for the disengagement of the service chiefs in the country, a meeting between the security bosses and President Muhammadu Buhari has held in Aso Rock.
Present at the meeting are security advisers to the president and others who are relevant to the issues slated for discussion.
The agenda of the meeting is still unknown, but it is coming at a time the lawmakers in the country are asking that the service chiefs should be disengaged.
The meeting was still ongoing at the time of this report
According to report, Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), was at the meeting which also had Abba Kyari, the chief of staff to Buhari.

The minister of Defence, Defense Major General Bashir Salihi Mahashi (Rtd.); the interior minister, Rauf Aregbesola and Babagana Monguno, the National Security Adviser (NSA).
Abaribe, just like his colleagues in the National Assembly, had accused the administration of lacking the capacity to protect the lives of the people of Nigeria.
His comment came just when the House of Representatives raised an alarm over killings and other criminal activities across the country as the members claimed they have not been able to sleep because of mass complaints.
The members of the House of Representatives also asked the service chiefs to resign as the decision had been reached after a majority of the members supported a motion relating to it.
